Putting your wall on the Lock Screen

iOS does not let any app change the wallpaper directly — so DailyWall renders the wall as an image and hands it to Shortcuts. You set it up once and it runs itself after that:

• On the wall screen in DailyWall, tap ⋯ → Lock Screen wall.
• Add the ready-made shortcut from the guide that opens.
• In the Shortcuts app, go to Automation → + → App.
• Choose DailyWall → Is Closed → Run Immediately.
• For the action, pick Run Shortcut → DailyWall.

From then on, every time you leave the app your Lock Screen becomes that day's wall. The image never passes through Photos.

Does the wall image get saved to my gallery?

No. DailyWall never writes to your photo library on its own and never deletes anything. A copy is saved only if you press "Save to Photos" yourself.

My subscription

Subscriptions are managed through the App Store. To cancel, change plan or see your renewal date, on your iPhone go to: Settings → (your name) → Subscriptions → DailyWall.

A free trial is not charged if you cancel more than 24 hours before it ends. If you cancel during the trial, you keep access until it runs out.

Changed device, or reinstalled the app? Use "Restore purchases" on the subscription screen — signing in with the same Apple Account is all it takes.

My notes have disappeared

First check this: the wall is per-day — are you looking at the right one? Use the ‹ › arrows in the header to move between days.

If you deleted and reinstalled the app and iCloud is on, your notes come back from the cloud backup; give it a moment on first launch. You can see the backup status under Settings → iCloud. If it still doesn't arrive, write to us.

Smart add isn't working

The feature that turns a plain sentence into a date and items needs an internet connection (it also works offline if your device supports Apple Intelligence). Without a connection the app falls back to its own rule-based parser, which still understands common patterns like "tomorrow at 2".

Nothing shows on Apple Watch

Make sure your watch and phone are near each other, then open DailyWall once on the iPhone. Syncing usually takes a few seconds. To add the complication, press and hold the watch face → Edit → tap a complication slot.

Deleting my account and data

There is no account — so there is no record to delete. Removing the app clears everything on your device. For the iCloud copy, use Settings → (your name) → iCloud on your iPhone. See our privacy policy for the details.
